Basic Meditation Courses and Advanced Meditation Courses (1st Advanced Mantras
and techniques)
ADVANCED TECHNIQUE
For anyone who has practised an existing technique consistently for at least 12 months, it is recommended
that they obtain an Advanced Technique. In Vedic Meditation, an Advanced Technique is designed to take
one’s awareness to that stratum, that layer of consciousness, that comprises the interface between thinking and pure
silent consciousness. In short, it allows the meditator to integrate that elusive, deeply charming state
that we slip into in our deepest meditations, into every moment of our awakened state. A good example of
how an Advanced Technique supports us in our evolution is a car shifting from a low gear to a higher gear to gain speed.
We can get where we need to go in first gear, but it will take much longer than if we shifted to a higher gear.
An Advanced Technique may involve a student learning a more advanced
version of their existing mantra, or it may involve learning a more advanced method of using the mantra they have already
received.

Introduction to the Veda - "Exploring
the Veda series" - Six instalments.
Introduction to the Veda is a unique course combining both theoretical understanding
of the Veda and its practical application in our daily life.
The Veda is an ancient record of spiritual experience and is the source of
yoga, Ayurvedic medicine, meditation and Indian philosophy. The Veda is knowledge
of the true conscious intent of the universe. Acquisition of this knowledge allows one to attune
their awareness to the ongoing and ever-changing laws of nature, resulting in
the ability to experience more frictionlessness and cognize the right response at exactly the right
moment.
The course is held on evenings and weekends, consisting
of 10 hours of recorded lecture by my teacher and Vedic Master Thom Knoles. An important aspect of the course
is the time for discussion and exploration of themes, which allows students to integrate the knowledge and relate
it back to their own personal experience.
In
addition, the course includes additional special meditation techniques and programs for integration
into your home practice.
This course
of study is an absolute must for anyone interested in deepening their knowledge of the Veda and their understanding of consciousness
as it expresses itself through ourselves and the world around us.
In
order to participate in Introduction to the Veda you must have been instructed in Vedic Meditation.
Weekend Meditation Retreats
A weekend residence course is a powerful opportunity
for meditators to expand and deepen their practice.
Participants
learn "Rounding" - a simple series of yoga poses and breathing exercises and these will be combined with
multiple meditation sessions. This "industrial-strength" program releases deeply rooted stresses
and fatigue and accelerates evolution toward higher states of consciousness.
The effects of a weekend retreat are comparable to meditating twice daily for several months.
